Productivity

Why is it the more I have to do the better I am at actually doing anything. It seems like when I am busy, I am more productive in all areas. But, when I have no time, I just waste and don't do anything, including things that I want to do (like catch up on my scrapbooking, or reading, or emailing people back)?

I guess it is a paradox that is true of most people. I won't say all people, because some people are just better at being productive than others.

For example, take one of my best friends, Sarah. I don't think I know anyone more disciplined than her. SERIOUSLY! She has everything read for class in a month. Paper due at the end of the term, done way before it is due... at the latest a week before hand. She is just so good at it.

I envy her for that. I wish I was that way. But no... the pressure of the deadline makes me work harder I guess. Or I am just lazy. Don't know which.

Well, this week is no different, I guess. Florida is looming (well, not looming in a bad way... I can't wait!!!), and all of the sudden I have a ton to do at work... so I have been pretty good all day. And I actually ran the errands I was supposed to yesterday, plus actually picked up my room. Hopefully that will happen again tonight. And probably will... i don't really have time to work on it tomorrow.

Back to work, I go. Enjoy the summer that seems to have arrived! Is it as beautiful where you are as it is here? I LOVE IT!!!
