So, I don't watch the View... one, I am at work, and two, just don't care to. Sure if I am home, I might think to put it on, but isn't my priority.
However, every morning I do read MSN... almost too much. This morning I read a review Whoopi Goldberg's first day on The View... after Rosie she has big shoes to step into. Rosie brought much controversy. And some say ratings, so Whoopi, I suppose, has some expectations thrust upon her.
I guess she wanted to start good. She actually defended Micheal Vick and his dog fighting business... she said that it is part of the Southern culture.
Ummm... now, I have worked hard to not really think of myself as Southern... but living in Virginia, lets be honest, it may not be deep South, but it can be very southern and very country. And for all my time there (18 years plus people...), I have NEVER heard of dog fighting like it is part of the Southern culture... and I do not think it is common in Virginia nor in the South.
Do others from the South agree with me? Or am I just crazy and lived under some rock?
I really don't think that is it people... I think Whoopi is the crazy one on this. Dog fighting is horrible, and Vick deserves whatever punishment comes to him.
