On Friday I went to Topsail Beach with a smallish group from my Singles Ministry. It was quite the fun filled day. I didn't take any pictures (boo!), but my friend Rachel did. When she sends them to me I'll have to post them. However, I greatly enjoyed my day of sitting on the beach with friends just chatting. There was also the walk to get some ice cream (YUM!), and of course a couple of dips in the ocean (got to stay cool!). I do love the beach... too bad it isn't closer!
Then on Saturday, I went to spend the evening at Pullen Park with another smallish group from my church. At Pullen Park they have a carousel and some other cute kiddie rides. My friends and I decided that we wanted to ride the train... because really, we are 5 at heart. Here is the proof:
Do you notice all the kids on the train with us? Don't worry -- all the rest of the adults were parents. :-)
