There was a HUGE thunderstorm rolling in as I went to bed last night. Had me thinking a lot about thunderstorms.
At what point do children stop being afraid of thunderstorms?
And at what point did they actually start to bring me comfort?
I am serious. I haven't feared a thunderstorm in a LONG time. But I never really enjoyed them. However, it the last couple of years I have really begun to enjoy them. Last night as I fell asleep to the thunder claps I thought "in a weird way, this is comforting." Why is that?!?! And when did it happen?!?!
I'll give you this, though -- I do NOT like thunderstorms if I have to drive through them or if I have to walk from my car to a building. Its not the sounds... its the lightning!! i don't want to get hit. (really, what are the chances of that happening?).
Do you like thunderstorms? or do you still hate them?
