Remember when my Stratus (oh, how I loved that car) looked like this? stupid garbage truck.

Do you remember when I bought the new car? Oh, it was a proud day. Such a good day, that I took pictures of that, too:

But let me give you an idea of how much I drive:

That is right. I bought my (used!) 2007 Ford Fusion with about 800 miles on it. As of yesterday, I hit 30,000. In approx 20 months I have put 29,000 miles on my car. That averages to almost 1500 miles a month.

Do you think I drive a lot? How much do you drive?

I have had quite the hiatus from letting you know what is up with my life, huh?

Well, here is a recap for you all...

On Oct 12th I FINALLY got to leave Duke. YAHOO. It was kinda bittersweet. More sweet than bitter, but was sad to leave my friends there. How many places to get to work with people your own age that you get along with? Ummm... not very many that I know of. However, knowing that I no longer have to QA grids, read study materials, pay $60 a month of pay for a parking space? Priceless.

I now work at the North Carolina Coastal Pines Girl Scout Council as a Membership Director. Tomorrow will be my one month... and as with any new job, I am definitely still trying to figure out what my job description looks like; although, I feel that I am getting closer. Hmmm... what else?

So, as you can tell... I had to get a new car. I ended up with a cute little Ford Fusion that I like lots and lots. Here is the exterior and interior of the new car (which is treating me really well and I can't wait to take on a long drive to truly test it out!)
